You can completely shutdown Spell Check Anywhere while spell checking is in progress by holding the control key down and clicking the Cancel button.  This is equivalent to selecting “Shutdown Spell Check Anywhere” from Spell Check Anywhere’s menu.

If you just want to cancel the current spell check, without shutting down Spell Check Anywhere, then just click Cancel.  To stop spell checking, but have all the corrections you have made so far get updated, click Finish.

1. Double click on Spell Check Anywhere Icon on the desktop.
2. Click with the right mouse button on Spell Check Anywhere Icon in the system tray (right lower corner of the screen).
3. Or, if you have enabled the Spell Check button to be added to all Windows, click with the right mouse button on the Spell Check Anywhere’s spell check button.

What if you want to add multiple words at once to the custom dictionary, without being prompted for each one at a time?  Lets say you have a list of 500 words you want to add to the custom dictionary.

Then spell check a document with all the words you want to add to the custom dictionary, and when the first word is flagged as misspelled, hold the control key down and then click add-word.  This will tell Spell Check Anywhere to add all the words in this document into the custom dictionary.
